Job DescriptionAbout the Opportunity:
Amcor Rigid Packaging is seeking an intern/co-op that will commence in May 2025 and will give the selected student; a challenging project-based work experience, the opportunity to learn about Amcor Rigid Packaging business, the packaging industry, and receive mentorship from business leaders. This role will report to the Marketing Manager for the Specialty Containers segment and have significant exposure to our business and leadership teams.
Internship Assignments:
Assist with Specialty Containers sustainability efforts- 1) Small bottle challenges 2) Non- recyclable colors 3) Problematic materialsCollect material on sustainability legislation that relates to S&W, PET, Glass, Tetra, Aluminum and newer packaging typesPrepare customer facing materials to help communicate ARPs sustainability leadership in general and in the Specialty Containers spaceAssist in organizing and hosting internal ideation sessionsWork with cross-functional teams: Marketing, Sales, Engineering Get exposure to the business through BDR calls, team calls and potential customer or plant visitsBasic Qualifications:
Packaging Major (Preferred) – Junior/Senior3.2 GPA or higher, cumulativelyLegally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without company sponsorship now or in the futurePreferred Qualifications and Skills:
