The goal of the LCMC Health Marketing department internship program is to provide an experiential learning environment with opportunities for the intern to explore, learn, and grow in the marketing field as part of an engaged team with a passion for healthcare with heart. Develop marketing skills as well as learning to work in a professional, fast-paced team environment. Gain valuable, applied marketing and communications experience, and make important connections.
GENERAL DUTIES
Content generation, development and execution of communication plans for various projects: In coordination with corporate Marketing team, develops communication plans incorporating all available mediums to implement for various projects. Executes plan as needed and reports on objectives and results.Provides comprehensive support and assistance with day-to-day marketing team activities as assigned, exercising independent judgement and creativity: Supports and cross-trained on all system communications platforms. Manages special projects as assigned, including digital marketing, CRM, public relations, and creative services support. Attends team meetings and presents/shares work.Supports community outreach efforts: Works with Marketing and Communications Manager and Lead Corporate Brand Specialist to develop activation plans for sponsorships and other community events. Supports internal communications and internal projects as assigned.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
Required: 3 collegiate level courses of relevant course work in the field of marketing, communications, public relations, or related field.Preferred: Previous internship experience in marketing, public relations, health administration, or related field.
