With services like internal communications, marketing, talent management, employee relations, and total rewards, the People Team supports the nearly 4,000 employees at CEI who safely engineer and build complex commercial, data center and energy projects across the United States. ABOUT THE ROLEWe are seeking a creative, motivated and enthusiastic summer intern to join CEI’s in-house Marketing/Communications (Marcom) team. The summer intern will assist with various tasks, including digital asset tagging and organizing, content creation, events and creative brainstorming. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain visibility into an in-house marketing function, create real-world content and contribute to meaningful projects that enhance the employee experience. The ideal person in this role is naturally curious, accountable, comfortable with a variety of environments and doesn’t take themselves too seriously.   Assist with tagging and organizing marketing assets, including developing a marketing glossary, recommending file structure, organizing and archiving digital assets for maximum productivityAttend jobsite visits and help document progress with project profiles, interviews and photographyHelp organize employee-focused events (volunteering, summer picnic/BBQ etc.)Assist with creating and editing content for website and social media platformsSupport the team with administrative tasks as neededParticipate in team meetings and brainstorming sessionsABOUT YOUWritten/Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Big thinker, problem solver.Tech Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Suite of products (Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint is a plus). Has been exposed to (or is familiar with) Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator. Understands and is familiar with website content management systems. If not familiar with listed programs, should be willing to learn and grasp tech concepts and systems.Temperament: Comfortable in a variety of environments: with foremen on a jobsite, support teams in the office and everything in between. Has positive attitude, good sense of humor and is eager to learn.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSAny combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED required.
