Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the office three times per week or other frequency dictated by the business.
The Role
Intern is primarily responsible for applying Data Analytics techniques on GM manufacturing processes in manufacturing plants to solve manufacturing business problems with big data. In this position, Intern will be work with DLA engineers.
What You'll Do
Collaborate with DLA team to capture, prioritize, and document data analytic requirements and drive measurable results.
Pull data using existing reporting tools, analyze, perform testing, and validate the results.
Analyze large amounts of data to discover trends and patterns.
Additional Job DescriptionYour Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
Masters / Degree in Automotive technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or information technology.
Basic Knowledge in python (preferred) or any object-oriented programming languages.
Basic Knowledge in applying statistical techniques, analytical tools, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence packages such as python pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, plotly, pytorch, keras, pyspark, etc.
