Job Description:

Micron’s NAND Technology Integration (NTI) Singapore TD group is looking for intern process development engineer to support R&D activities associated with rapid deployment of technology nodes, the process margin improvement work necessitated thereof as well as to ensure extended engagement with manufacturing on the upcoming technology nodes.

NAND Process Integration (NPI), Diffusion Process Development  

 

Title of project: 

Thin films process optimization and integration study for RG NAND  

 

Description of project: 

Define the optimized thin film process operation window based on process characterization, integration study and hardware improvement to achieve the best yield, RPT, cost and manufacturability.  

 

Scope: 

Your job scope (as an engineering intern) would likely to involve supporting specific thin film process optimization under the guidance of a senior engineer 

Understand the manufacturing capability of specific processes (Qual and Inline monitoring, Chamber maintenance, Process setup etc.) Understand specific thin film process mechanisms, process tuning knobs; conduct process characterization, DoE and data analysis to improve process margin, improves process yield, reduce process RPT, reduce process cost Understand specific thin film process mechanisms and its correlation with integration, inline metrics and probe yield Understand specific thin film process equipment, it’s correlation with process performance; work on hardware continuous improvements project to improve process margin Troubleshoot specific thin film process related issue for inline and probe metrics 

 

Deliverable: 

Recommend and enable process optimization with clear metrics (yield improvement; RPT reduction; Util improvement; Cost reduction; process margin improvement – NU%/PMON/RI etc.) 

 

Skillset required: 

Student pursing Bachelor’s degree or Higher in engineering
