Summary: Applying problem solving skills to innovate on technical solutions on inline tools to mitigate the chronic problems experienced by operations team.​

Project Title: Inline yield improvement​

Project Description: ​

In this project, intern will be equipped with assembly process knowledge to understand line process flow. ​

The student will be exposed to industrial machines used for production runs and will get hands on opportunities to learn the machine mechanism & operation, maintenance procedure and common inline issues and fixing procedure​

With the knowledge equipped, the intern will also have opportunity to participate to contribute ideas to reduce inline defect pareto & tool alarms and learn from industrial subject experts. Equipment modifications might be necessary depending on the complexity of the idea proposed.​

Scope: Identify critical tools that contributes to highest defect pareto & alarm count, analyze and think of possible solution that can target the root causes to the issues​

Deliverable: Tool alarm reduction​

Impact of Project: Improved product yield, better product quality​

Abilities Require: General problem solving, analytical skill, attention to detail, mechanical competence, basic IT proficiency​
