The Plant Operations Internship will allow the successful candidate to enhance their real-life experiences and learn modern skills in the field they are studying. It is an outstanding opportunity to get hands-on experience on the manufacturing plant floor and understand how data is applied to make insightful observations, determine efficiency trends and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities Using systems to their maximum potential and make reporting effective, efficient, timely, accurate, and insightful Complete studies on current manufacturing equipment installations to evaluate operational efficiency and line performance. Assist with the support of implementing projects for improvement for instance: Kaizen, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing Analyze current operational processes; develop and implement ideas for improvement Develop performance standards & metrics; implement analysis and reporting processes to monitor operational performance Other duties as assigned Requirements Enrolled in Bachelor’s degree program in Engineering, Food Science, Business or related field Possesses interest in working food manufacturing Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills Students with a minimum of one year of major specific classes, preferred Ability to work in a plant environment with exposure to loud, hot, cold, or wet environments Ability to sit, stand, walk and climb stairs for eight hours per day About UsChobani is a food maker with a mission of making high-quality and nutritious food accessible to more people, while elevating our communities and making the world a healthier place. Compensation Range: $25.00 - $32.00, plus bonus.
