Intern - Process Engineer (Summer 2025)

Position Summary & Responsibilities:

This internship is anticipated to run from middle of May - August 2025 working an average of 40 hours a week. This role is based in Durham, NC with a five day per week onsite requirement. Relocation Assistance is not available for this position. 

The Process Engineer Intern will provide support on ongoing studies and projects in the Industrialization department.

Support department projects through lab scale or scale-up process/product development studies, product and process validation.Assist in the analysis of process and product performance data to identify trends to predict potential failures and to aid in solving product and process problemsPerform a variety of testing using analytical chemistry and/or microbiological methods and instruments.

Education, Skills, & Experience:

High School Diploma/GED is required and must be actively enrolled in an academic program/institution pursuing a degree.
Engineering or Life Science (Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, etc) majors are desiredPrevious work experience is preferred, ideally in a Manufacturing or Warehouse settingExperience in a FDA regulated industry preferredCoursework experience in product development or process development preferred
