A day in the life:

Collaborate with Engineers to calculate heat loads and determine refrigeration requirements for industrial facilities Apply thermodynamics and heat transfer principles to size and select refrigeration equipment, piping and control valves Assist in developing compliance documentation for safety systems in accordance with OSHA’s PMS standards Help create engineering tools to streamline calculations and design processes Review designs to ensure they meet industry codes and standards Participate in site visits, documenting key findings to support engineering decisions Analyze and review submittal drawings and technical data for compliance with project specifications Utilize AutoCAD to develop P&ID’s, flow diagrams, plans and specifications for industrial refrigeration systems

You should:

Be pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree, Mechanical Engineering Technology degree, other engineering degrees or equivalent technical experience Willingness to work hard within a team, learn a ton, and have fun! Demonstrate analysis and problem solving skills to resolve technical design challenges Demonstrate proficiency interfacing with technology, including knowledge and experience using Microsoft Excel for cost estimating and engineering functions Possess a valid driver’s license
