Are you interested in working in the Remarketing analytics field? Does utilizing market trends, deploying financial and operational analysis, forecasting, and modeling concepts to mitigate risks and identify opportunities relative to asset pricing interest you? Or what about researching, evaluating, developing, and implementing GM Finacial's product initiatives? Then we are looking for you! Job Description Support other teams within the department through reporting and analysis, while reporting disposal costs of all our vehicles Support profitability analysis for remarketing sales operations, inventory management and strategic planning. Assist with the analysis, modeling, and reporting on asset remarketing activities that impact asset pricing, profitability, cash flow projections and remarketing solutions. Assist in the development and support of complex models, analysis, and reporting related to remarketing pricing and cash flow projections Assist research projects incorporating project design, data collection, analysis, and summarization of findings Aid with the evaluation of Remarketing Solutions programs for GM Financial off-lease vehicles and GM Certified Pre-Owned programs as it pertains to corporate profitability Provide analytical support as needed to evaluate strategic corporate remarketing projects and initiatives as it pertains to corporate profitability Support recommendations for operational policies and procedures; ensure team compliance with such policies and procedures Provide analytical support for auction optimization and related operational metrics Qualifications Must be a current student pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Business Analytics, Finance, or other related major with at least one semester remaining upon start of the internship. Must possess a minimum of a 3.0 (out of a 4-point scale) overall GPA. Senior classification preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills required. This incumbent will be required to give presentations and communicate with business leaders. Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving, and conceptual skills required. Must be detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Must be able to work independently or in a team setting. Knowledge of finance, statistics, accounting and/or financial services Knowledge of financial concepts such as ROA, ROE, IRR, and cash flow modeling Knowledge with data mining tools such as Access, SAS, and SQL Previous internships are considered a plus.
