Principal responsibilities
The incumbent will be required to work extensively with the analysts and associates in Guangzhou and global investment banking professionals on preparing presentation materials and participating in pitches and deals – this will involve conducting industry and product research; benchmarking, profiling companies, case studies, preparing financing models and valuation analysis (relative and absolute valuation methods, Merger models, etc.) Focus on supporting origination of mergers and acquisitions (MA) assignments, divestitures, financial restructurings and associated financing solutionsSupport the team members by performing financial analysis and research as per the requirementsAcquire in-depth understanding of client needs and the market, industry and business environment. This understanding enables the firm to design customized solutions for clients - whether it is strategic initiatives like MA, financing or risk management solutionsThe incumbent will work on a very wide variety of projects on the above asks with colleagues from across the world.Focus on supporting origination of mergers and acquisitions (MA) assignments, divestitures, financial restructurings and associated financing solutions.Support the team members by performing financial analysis and research as per the requirements.Acquire in-depth understanding of client needs and the market, industry and business environment.
