Overview

Summary

The Strategic Operations Intern will support the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Strategic Operations. This role will involve assisting with various strategic initiatives, including board meeting preparation, Executive Leadership Team (ELT) meeting and notes preparation, corporate communications, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts, and engagement in IT strategy work. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, flexible maintain strong confidentiality and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

 

Assist in preparing materials for board meetings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in documentation.Take detailed meeting notes during ELT meetings, capturing key discussion points, action items, and decisions.Support the development and dissemination of company-wide messaging, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and values.Contribute to DEI initiatives by researching best practices, assisting with program development, and promoting a culture of inclusion.Collaborate with teams to understand strategic objectives and provide support in developing IT strategy documents.Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform strategic decision-making.Provide administrative support to the SVP of Strategic Operations as needed, including calendar management, scheduling meetings, and organizing files.

 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program, preferably in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.Demonstrated capacity to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Interest in strategic planning, operations management, and corporate governance.Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles.Previous internship or work experience in a related field is a plus.
