To deliver on our ambitious goals for a sustainable procurement strategy, we need a highly organized working student with a passion for sustainability, communication and data management. The procurement operations team is responsible for supplier management and ensures that our external services delivered to Celonis meet public regulations and our own values.
We are looking for someone self-motivated, and eager to leave their mark, learn best practices, and bring a fresh perspective and outlook to the team!

The Role:

You will support the procurement operations team for 9 weeks during the summer from 2nd June to 1st August to support us in our mission to execute a smooth and compliant ESG Supplier assessment. As an integral part of the team, you will be responsible to independently drive the ESG topics with our suppliers, but you will also be involved in various daily topics around stakeholder communication, contract lifecycle management and supplier management.

The work you’ll do:

Work in an international team with experienced procurement professionals Identify gaps, bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the ESG assessment process and develop ideas and solutions for improvement Take on the opportunity to develop and drive your own procurement project  Learn to work with our very own Celonis sustainable spend app!  Support with daily tasks within the P2P process to learn the role of a procurement manager and support the team to maximize its value contribution 

The qualifications you need:

Recent graduate from a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sustainability, Data Science, Business Intelligence, Innovation Management, or similar Strong affinity to sustainability, numbers and technology (experience with ESG tools is a plus!) Excellent administrative and organizational skills Proficiency in all Microsoft Office/ GSuite applications, any other system experience is a plus Can do mentality that is not afraid to push for results Structured and reliable working style with an eye for details Strong analytical, problem solver abilities to navigate ambiguous environments Experience with working with a team and effective communication skills 9 weeks availability from 2nd June to 1st August
