Internal Accommodations Lead
**Job Description** Holland America Line has been exploring the world since 1873. We’re looking for an amazing Internal Accommodations Lead to fill this role. This is a hybrid, in-office role. You’ll work in person in our Seattle office Tuesday to Thursday each week. You’ll be responsible operating and maintaining the cabin request system(s), ensuring that all requests are handled in a timely, transparent, and equitable manner for onboard accommodations of shore-based staff, contractors, programming personnel and traveling trainers to minimize usage of guest cabin inventory and associated loss of cruise revenue. Along with managing their own assigned ships, this role will coach and assist Internal accommodations coordinators in regular reviews of pending and booked requests on their sailings to ensure timely completion of requests and maximum optimization of non-revenue cabins. The role will also assist Internal Accommodations Coordinators in learning how to review and prioritize requests in situations where the number of requests exceeds available cabins. The role will provide additional support to Internal Accommodations Coordinators in processing requests and emails through regular reviews of pending requests, manage the shared inbox to ensure requests are processed and responded to in a timely manner, and assist and at times, lead special projects and group cabin requests. The role will be responsible for maintaining the internal accommodations inventory for service staff cabins and crew complement cabins in line with the ships table of personnel (TOP) using the applicable system, workbooks and reports. Is this you? **Responsibilities** + Execution and Performance + Manage all internal accommodation cabin requests in accordance with organizational policy and procedure using applicable systems. + Leadership and Support + Lead and support special projects and group cabin requests to ensure efficient planning to maximize optimization of space and minimize impact to revenue. + Partner closely with onboard HR team, Crew Pursers, shoreside planners for management and optimization of crew cabins/berths + Optimization and Efficiency + Optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness by maximizing occupancy levels with the least amount of impact to revenue. + Meet with operational departments and planners to assess needs to prioritize cabin assignments on assigned ships. + Support all Internal Accommodations Coordinators with assigned ships to meet department quality standards/demands. + Data Management + Update statistical tools, databases, workbooks, and reports for crew cabins (Air table), cabin requests (cabin request system) Microsoft Excel, SharePoint and other information databases. + Organizing data, respond to telephone calls, and prepare and submit requested data in a timely and accurate manner. + Assists with preparation for the annual cabin request ‘ACR’ occurring annually in May/June. **Requirements** + High School Diploma/GED + At least 3 years of experience in customer service, administration, revenue management or ship inventory. At least 3 years of experience in customer service, administration, and revenue management for luxury brands supporting 100+ requests weekly.
