The Senior Manager of Internal and External Logistics supervises all logistics operations within the company, ensuring the smooth flow of goods, stock management, and the coordination of internal and external transport. He/she ensures the proper management of the material, human, and technological resources needed to optimize logistics processes while meeting deadlines and reducing costs.

Your Key Responsibilities

Manage and Optimize Internal Logistics System: Oversee and optimize the internal logistics system to meet or exceed customer expectations while improving operational efficiencyMonitor and Evaluate Performance: Regularly monitor and assess the performance of the internal logistics system, ensuring it remains competitive and relevant in the marketplace.Optimize Material and Information Flows: Streamline the flow of materials, information, and services across various stages, eliminating bottlenecks, redundancies, and conflicts.Define Roles and Processes: Establish clear roles, responsibilities, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and communication channels for each step of the logistics processResource Management and Continuous Improvement: Implement tools and techniques to optimize resource allocation, while minimizing costs, risks, and waste, and maximizing quality and productivity.Compliance: Ensures company regulatory compliance with all DOT /FAA/ IATA requirements, including training of personnel. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

You bring

Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred.5 years in Supply Chain leadership/management, or equivalent progressive experience.Proven experience implementing methodologies (Lean, TPM, IWS or others) Experience in all logistics disciplines: Shipping/Receiving, 3PL, traffic/Fleet/Transportation (Domestic and International), Export.Strong background in Inventory Control, MRP, Materials Management/Procurement.Working knowledge of DOT/IATA and other regulatory compliance.Strong organizational and analytical capabilities.L6S Green Belt certification a plusFluency in Spanish a plus
