Job Description

The Auditor is primarily responsible for performing test of controls aligned for the period and validating the effectiveness of the ECAR controls regarding key processes such as Claim Processing, Client Services, Disbursements, etc.

Job Responsibilities:

Validate the effectiveness of Financial, Operational and IT controlsAssist Management with the documentation of key processes and controls Attend key operational workshops to better understand the ECAR process and develop key institutional knowledgeReinforce the Three Lines of Defense and promote a strong control environment through trainings and communications.This team will work with Security, Compliance and Audit to increase control awareness.Specific tasks may include the following: Conduct interviews to construct process narratives and understand the flow of data and identify key controls.Gather and inspect documentation to evaluate overall efficiency and effectiveness of processes, procedures, and controls.Document audit results and summarize findings and recommendations. Perform testing procedures and summarize results to provide Management with full visibility to possible risk areas.Perform risk assessments to identify potential risk areas and quality issues. Track audit findings and internal workshops result to resolution.

Education and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, IT, or related field.Minimum of 3 years of relevant Financial, Operational or IT audit experience in accounting/auditing (internal or external).Computer proficiency, specifically Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).Should have working experience with US clients and projectsBig Four experience desired.CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP or other applicable professional certifications or candidates for certification desired.Excellent analytical, project management, and interpersonal and communication skills (written, oral and listening) desired.Strong interpersonal and communication skillsStrong customer service attitude, team player; strong desire for knowledge; adaptability and flexibility; ability to work in a decentralized environment that is constantly changing.
