CACI is looking for an energetic professional to join our Internal Audit team; a self-starter and enthusiastic team member who is highly organized with excellent attention to detail. In this role you will be responsible for managing staff members and for executing as well as overseeing financial, operational and managerial processes as well as systems and outcomes to ensure financial and operational integrity and compliance.
This role will lead and oversee audit engagements focusing on operational processes across various business units. This role ensures that company operations comply with policies, procedures, regulations, and industry standards, while also identifying areas for process improvement and risk mitigation. The ideal candidate brings a blend of audit expertise, strong business acumen, and leadership capabilities to drive operational efficiency and support the organization’s strategic goals.

Other responsibilities include:
• Build and maintain effective relationships with the business areas, including understanding changes to the business processes and procedures and potential impacts to control environment.
• Perform operational and/or risk-based reviews to identify control gaps and process improvements.
• Develop and manage the execution of operational audit plans, ensuring they align with the organization’s risk management strategies and business objectives.
• Oversee all stages of the audit cycle, from planning and risk assessment to testing, reporting, and follow-up on corrective actions.
• Perform and/or review in-depth analyses of business processes, controls, and operational risks, identifying potential weaknesses and recommending improvements.
• Perform Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) assessments to evaluate the design and operational effectiveness of controls, evaluate deficiencies for remediation, and report results to management.
• Perform compliance reviews to ensure adherence with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) or other regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with management regarding testing status, testing issues and deadlines. Follow-up with management to ensure agreed-upon action plans have been implemented.
• Proficient with report writing to summarize audit results, recommendations, and corrective actions.
• Assist external auditors with their SOX reliance and assist work for the financial statement audit
• Collaborate with more senior members of the Team on the annual plan by assessing organization risks, interviewing key stakeholders, and providing ideas for value added reviews.
• Maintain an objective mind set and an appropriate level of professional skepticism and perform all work with due care.
• Perform ad hoc investigations as required.
• Manage, develop, and coach professional staff.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of three years of supervisory experience.
• Minimum five years of recent experience executing internal or external audit engagements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of auditing techniques.
• Knowledge of SOX internal control requirements.
• High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
• Strong work ethic.
• CPA or CIA is strongly preferred.
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:
• Government contracting experience a plus.
• Experience with AuditBoard a plus.
• Experience with Informational Technology related audits (e.g., ITGCs, Applications Controls, System Implementation Reviews, Vulnerability and/or Penetration Tests) is a plus

The proposed salary range for this position is:
