Internal Audit Manager
**Internal Audit Manager** _Work Mode: Hybrid_ **Location: ** Hybrid – Kohler, WI **Opportunity** Kohler Co. Internal Audit team partners with the business units to provide risk-based, impactful, objective assessments of operational, financial, and compliance risks. The Internal Audit Manager will plan, execute, and report on internal audit assignments under the direction of the Manager, Internal Audit. This role is viewed as an informal department leader, serving as a project lead over a team of auditors (typically 1-3), based in Kohler, Wisconsin. This role will include up to 25% travel to Kohler locations within the Americas region and internationally to complete audits. The ideal candidate has the following three attributes: + Proven Experience in Leading Risk-Based Audits: The ideal candidate has a track record of successfully leading teams in risk-focused and strategic audit projects. They are proficient in data analytics to identify and prioritize the high-risk areas. + Big Picture Vision: The ideal candidate can think strategically and see the overall root cause of audit findings. They are effective in the verbal and non-verbal communication of audit findings to management. + Team Fit: The ideal candidate embodies the company's values and is passionate about contributing to a cohesive global audit team environment. They have strong interpersonal skills and can build positive relationships across all levels of the organization. **Specific Responsibilities** + Developing and executing the annual audit plan in under the supervision of the Manager – Internal Audit. + Conducting 8-10 audit assignments per year. + Undertaking comprehensive planning and risk assessments relating to each assignment to ensure that the engagement correctly identifies potential business risks, focuses on the high risk areas, and provides maximum payback from the assignment. + Ensuring that recommendations are clearly presented to and agreed to by management and that a subsequent audit report is issued promptly. + Ensuring that all agreed recommendations are subsequently implemented. + The position holder is likely to be called upon to be a team member or team leader on various special projects requiring analytical and risk assessment skills. This includes leading process improvement events and initiatives. + Staying abreast of best practices both internally and externally and providing conduit for introducing those practices to the company. + Being a role model for the company's values and demonstrating the highest ethical standards. + Undertaking issues & processes that are moderately complex and that stretch across functions. + Successfully establishing and maintaining relationships with key management, vendors, and outside consultant **Skills/Requirements** + Likely to hold professional certification with a minimum of 4 years post qualification Internal Audit experience. + Comfortable with leading edge risk assessment methodologies. + Several years people supervisory experience. + MBA and/or IT and/or language skills. + Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. + Strong interpersonal skills - ability to work closely with people at all levels of the organization and facilitate the implementation of corrective action. + Willing to travel up to 25% of the time to locations throughout the world. + Proficient in ACL. + Auditing experience of manufacturing & supply chain operations is preferred. \#LI-Hybrid \#LI-KZ1 **_Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future._** _The salary range for this position is $94,400 - $119,950. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
