Key Objective:

Internal Audit is an independent appraisal function established within Healthy Options Corporation which mission is to enhance and protect organizational value by providing risk-based and objective assurance, advice, and insight.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensures that assigned brands’ stores are in compliance with relevant laws and established policies and procedures through performance of store audit (field work) Ensures that monthly transactions are in compliance with relevant laws and established policies and procedures through performance of transaction audit Evaluates and improves the brands’ risk management, governance and internal control processes are operating effectively (by examining turnover counts, z-reports, operating practices and performing special audits (if any), etc.) Witnesses inventory counts and disposals Work as an objective source of advice to ensure validity and goal achievement Prepares concise and accurate audit reports that reflects audit result to effectively communicate recommendations for the brand’s internal controls and processes Identify opportunities for improving business processes based on audit results to minimize risks
