Description We are in search of an Internal Auditor to join our team. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. It is central to the financial health and integrity of our operations. As an Internal Auditor, you will conduct audits, assess controls and financial records, and provide documentation of internal control systems. You will also be expected to report findings and make recommendations for improvements. Responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive audits of various operations within the organization • Evaluate the effectiveness of internal control systems and propose enhancements • Maintain detailed records and documentation related to audits and findings • Assess the accuracy of financial records and operational efficiency • Communicate audit findings and recommendations to staff and management • Prepare reports including audit summaries, risk assessments and audit plans • Implement and maintain fraud detection programs and review fraud prevention controls • Investigate allegations of fraud and potential areas of risk • Maintain accurate files and supporting documentation for audits and other assignments • Seek continuing education opportunities to stay informed of regulatory environment and other training programs. Requirements • Minimum 5 years of experience in an Internal Auditor role or similar. • Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems. • Experience in developing and implementing Audit Programs. • Extensive knowledge of Business Systems. • Familiarity with all major Accounting Functions. • Proven experience in presenting to Audit Committees. • Ability to compile and interpret Audit Findings. • Experience in designing and executing Audit Plans.
