Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Internal Auditor in Cranberry, Pennsylvania. As an Internal Auditor, you will be tasked with conducting thorough checks of financial transactions, ensuring the accuracy of cash applications, and performing internal audits within our financial services sector. Responsibilities: • Conduct in-depth audits of various accounting functions, ensuring they align with industry standards and regulations. • Utilize accounting software systems and business systems for efficient and accurate auditing. • Examine cash applications meticulously, verifying their correctness and alignment with company policies. • Perform comprehensive cash reconciliations, detecting any discrepancies and taking appropriate corrective actions. • Develop and implement audit plans, modifying them as necessary based on audit findings. • Work with Sage Intacct and ADP - Financial Services to streamline auditing processes. • Report on audit findings, making recommendations for improvements where necessary. • Leverage CobiT framework for better governance and management of enterprise IT. • Monitor for any mismatched invoices and rectify them promptly. • Maintain accurate records of all auditing activities.
