About the Role
The Internal Communication and Events Specialist will be part of the Internal Communications and Event team. You will sit within the wider Employer Brand Team but exclusively work with our finance population on this monumental project. You will be responsible for creating effective digital and traditional communication content and campaigns to engage, support and inform the stakeholders of key change messages. The main responsibilities will be:
Producing innovative, well written copy that is both timely and relevant for our internal communication platforms – plus ensure it fits with the NEXT tone of voice and the Employer Brand. Continual development of the Finance Transformation communications and events throughout the project. Educate others on the best way to communicate in their teams and business areas. Building and creating content that will live on the internal communications channels. The content needs to be engaging and fit in with the various messages and business needs. Analyse and report on the internal communications content and identify opportunities that we can then build content and strategies around. Supporting and running of internal events for departments or the entire business.About you
Essential
Excellent copywriting skills - plus the ability to proofread. A solid creative skill set. Especially in Adobe Suite - photoshop and Illustrator knowledge are a must. Strong understanding of Google Workspace - in particular the ability to create and maintain Google Sites. Strong communication skills with the ability to manage upwards. Great at planning and organisation. Event planning experience. Strong people skills at all levels. Ability to adapt to embrace and adapt to new technologies. A great work ethic, namely; a motivated team player and proactive both when working in a team and independent.Desirable
Google Analytics Optimising content for SEO Final Cut Pro/Premiere Pro - video editing skills. A good understanding and knowledge of Employer Branding and how it operates. Experience working in an internal communication role or environment.
