Internal Communications Lead, Creative and Events

As the Internal Communications Lead, Creative and Events, you'll lead a dynamic team responsible for the creative vision, strategy, and execution of enterprise-wide internal communications events and messaging. You'll work cross-functionally across the organization to develop innovative storytelling approaches that resonate, align with the corporate narrative, and inspire and engage team members at the Rocket Companies.
**About the Role**
+ Create, embody, and support the culture, vision, and overall direction of the team, setting a high standard for creative excellence.
+ Guide, and evaluate the work of direct report team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
+ Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic internal communications strategies that drive engagement and alignment.
+ Establish and maintain a robust creative process, ensuring high-quality and impactful creative output.
+ Work with strategic partners to develop and manage creative, meaningful content that highlights the company mission and culture, strategically placing it in the right channels to maximize engagement and awareness.
+ Provide communications support and counsel to senior leaders, working closely with Public Relations and Marketing teams to ensure cohesive messaging.
+ Ensure a high level of editorial review, maintaining consistency and quality across all organizational communications.
+ Stay abreast of the latest creative communications and practices to continuously enhance internal communication efforts.
+ Own the creative execution and production process, ensuring that all content effectively reaches and engages team members.
+ Convert organizational strategies into clear, compelling, and consistent messages and stories that connect team members to the organization and their work.
**About the Role**
+ 10 years of experience in a communications, marketing, or creative role.
+ 3 years of leading high-performing teams, including coaching and developing team members.
+ Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field.
+ Demonstrated ability in change management practices with an ability to understand and distill complex information into accessible communications.
+ Proven ability to make strategic judgment decisions in complex and crisis management situations.
+ Demonstrated expertise in creative strategy for internal communications and event production.
+ Previous experience working with confidential, non-public information.
+ Experience working with Adobe Photoshop, video editing and content management preferred.
