Internal Communications & Organizational Change Management Lead

ASRC Federal is seeking an energetic and passionate Internal Communications & Organizational Change Management Lead who can bring creative ideas and expertise to inform and inspire our employees.

 

This role will be primarily remote but must live within a commutable distance to our Reston, VA office for in office support as needed.

This role will collaborate with business stakeholders and marketing and communications colleagues to enhance the employee experience, foster a culture in which employees are engaged, and help to increase adoption and minimize resistance for organizational impacts and changes.

Key Role:

Work directly with senior leaders and functional teams to develop and implement internal communication and organizational change management strategies that drive change and shape employee engagement and culture.  Execute communications and change management plans that utilize a variety of channels to connect and engage stakeholders across the company. Create an engaging employee experience by leading, developing and executing comprehensive employee communications/engagement strategies and plans that help us to effectively communicate our business objectives and company mission, vision and values. Act as the strategic communications partner for all Shared Services functions (i.e., HR, IT, Finance, etc.) and consult with leaders to understand communication and organizational change management needs. Lead the development of internal communications and change management strategies for Shared Services projects/initiatives, our diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) program and recurring business activities (i.e., annual training, open enrollment, annual employee awards recognition, IT maintenance, time sheet deadlines, etc.) Leverage expertise in change management best practices (e.g., conducting audience and impact analysis) to design change management strategies and plans to minimize resistance and enable stakeholder adoption for enterprise change programs, projects and initiatives. Identify and assess stakeholder audiences and impacts to inform communication and change management strategies and plans. Develop and implement communication plans that include the impacted audiences, key messages and communication tactics/vehicles. Create and distribute a wide range of employee communications using a variety of communication channels (i.e., emails, intranet content, talking points, FAQs, videos, presentations, blogs, fact sheets, talking points, etc.) to help to convey important information and change impacts. Manage and develop content for company intranet to inform audiences with relevant and timely information. Develop quantitative and qualitative metrics to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and business impact of internal communications and change management plans. Identify potential communications and change management risks and recommend/implement strategies to mitigate and address concerns. Support the execution of internal events for our leaders and employees. Partner and collaborate with the external communications colleagues on communication campaigns that can be repurposed to support internal communication campaigns. Build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders, managers and employees to maximize and ensure alignment of employee communication and engagement opportunities.
