Kimley-Horn is looking for a Communcations Specialist to join our Raleigh, North Carolina (NC) office! This is not a remote position. Please include a cover letter and three writing samples with your application!

Responsibilities

We have an exciting career opportunity for a versatile communications professional to join our Firmwide Communications team in our Raleigh, NC, office. This role requires a blend of strong communication and writing skills to identify, develop, and produce compelling content for internal and external audiences.

Write and edit content for employee communications, intranet, and external websitePromote employee success and company culture through written storytelling Edit and proofread materials for grammar, format, style, accuracy, and consistencySupport other communications department activities as needed Qualifications

Required Skills:

Applicable four-year degree Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple assignments concurrentlyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detailExperience with Microsoft Office suite

 

Desired Skills:

1-2 years post-graduate experience

Familiarity with Asana, SharePoint, Sociabble (or other content management platforms), WordPress, and other communication toolsUnderstanding of metrics and measurement techniques related to communications effectiveness and impactRelevant internal communications internship preferred Familiarity with the Chicago Manual of Style Why Kimley-Horn?
