Mercer is seeking candidates for the position of Internal Communications Specialist.

We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our Mercer Super team at Mercer. This role will be based in either Melbourne or Sydney. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

This role will suit an experienced communications specialist preferably with a background in superannuation, wealth or financial services. 

We will count on you to:

Implement the internal communication strategy for Mercer Superannuation, ensuring that enterprise and global messages are effectively customized and activated locally.

Develop and execute the annual communications plan, including creating a monthly internal newsletter and leading the Mercer Superannuation Town Hall events.

Collaborate with teams across Mercer and Marsh McLennan to drive internal communications initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Assess the impact of communication initiatives and manage the oversight of messaging across multiple channels to maintain organizational reputation.

Inspire and engage colleagues through storytelling and two-way communication, while managing key stakeholders to ensure smooth communication processes.

What you need to have:

Tertiary education in communications or marketing.

At least 5 years of experience in communications, preferably within the superannuation, wealth, or financial services sectors.

Proven track record in developing and executing internal communication campaigns across various channels.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence outcomes at all organizational levels.
