Job Overview: We are seeking a proactive and strategic Internal Communications Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring our SSC employees are informed, engaged, and aligned with our company's goals and values. The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator with a passion for storytelling and creating compelling content.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Implement Communication Strategies: Craft and execute comprehensive internal communication plans that support our business objectives and enhance employee engagement.Content Creation: Produce high-quality, engaging content for various internal channels including newsletters, intranet, emails, and presentations.Collaboration: Partner with senior leadership, HR, and other departments to ensure consistent messaging and alignment across the organization.PR and Messaging Tasks: Develop and manage public relations and messaging strategies to maintain a positive organizational image and culture.Feedback and Improvement: Gather feedback from employees on communication effectiveness and continuously improve our internal communication strategies.Crisis Communication: Develop and manage internal crisis communication plans to ensure timely and effective communication during emergencies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree: In Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or a similar role.Skills: Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Proficiency in using internal communication tools and platforms.Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Strategic Thinker: Ability to think strategically and execute tactically. Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing effective communication strategies.Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
