Internal Communications Specialist - based onsite in St. Petersburg, FL
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Internal Communications Specialist to join our team. In this entry-level role, you will support the development and execution of internal communication strategies that enhance employee engagement, promote company culture, and ensure effective information flow within the organization. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Internal Communications, this role supports internal communications globally. The position is based in Jabil’s Headquarters in St. Petersburg, Florida, and remote work is not considered.
What can you expect to do?
Assist in the creation and distribution of internal communications, including newsletters, emails, intranet content, presentations, video scripts, and other digital communications.Collaborate with various functions (including HR, Finance, and Legal) to gather and share relevant information and updates.Support the planning and execution of internal events, meetings, and employee engagement activities.Maintain and update the company's intranet and internal communication channels.Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of internal communication efforts and provide recommendations for improvement.Ensure consistency and alignment of messaging with the company's brand and values.Handle administrative tasks related to internal communications projects.May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.What is the experience needed to be successful in this role?
Knowledge Requirements:
Strong interest in technology and communications, with a demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to an evolving field.Exceptional writing skills with the ability to craft clear, concise, and professional communications, tailored to diverse audiences.Strong project management skills, including planning, organization, time management, and problem-solving.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with global, diverse teams.Self-starter with a strong work ethic, initiative, and a willingness to learn and grow.Proficiency in the use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), and e-mail skills required.Education & Experience Requirements:
