Internal Communications Specialist II

The Internal Communications Specialist II position will assist the marketing and communication needs for Sales, Marketing and Human Resources departments, including intranet management, email communications, event support, and development and execution of communication plans.

Essential Functions

Internal Communications

Develop and execute the internal communications strategy for the organization, including key messaging, communication channels and tacticsWork with key organizational stakeholders to ensure all internal communication is clear, consistent and aligned with the company’s goals and valuesCoordinate internal events and other initiatives to promote employee engagement and strengthen the company cultureMaintain internal communications calendarDevelop network of key organizational contacts to provide content and updatesManage and develop content for company intranetDesign graphics and write content in partnership with key organizational stakeholdersMonitor and measure the effectiveness of the company intranet, and make recommendations for improvement based on feedback and data analysisAct as primary point of contact for intranet homepage channelAdvise internal departments on creation and publication of content to their intranet sites and partner on creation of initial pages if neededDevelop and execute project-based internal communications plans incorporating all channels, including intranet, email updates, newsletters, events, videos and presentationsAssist with crisis communications, ensuring all team members are informed and up-to-dateAssist with production of quarterly newsletter to include editing, photography and graphic designDevelop creative content in coordination with Graphic Design teamServe as point of contact for project requests from key organizational stakeholdersManage internal Niagara brand requests to include logo distribution, branded merchandise and marketing collateralSource internal promotional itemsEnsure brand standards are upheld and that appropriate parties approve materialsFacilitate asset gathering (style guides, graphics, product photography, etc.)Manage and develop content for internal digital signage and Niagara RadioDevelop and maintain database of industry updates and news briefs for Executive LeadershipIdentify opportunities to promote employee engagement and help foster a positive company cultureMaintain all internal communication tools, ensuring they are up-to-date, user-friendly, and aligned with the company’s goals and values

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:2 Years  – Experience in Marketing or Communications field in beverage or private label consumer goods

Preferred Qualifications:4 Years – Experience in Marketing or Communications field in beverage or private label consumer goods *experience may include a combination of work experience and educationProficiency in Microsoft Viva platform
