J.P. Morgan Payments is seeking an experienced, proactive, detail-oriented communications leader who excels at telling a business story, building strong relationships with executives and balancing competing demands.
As an Internal Communications Vice President in Communications Team you will be responsible for creating and executing comprehensive communications plans for both the EMEA region and Global Trade & Working Capital. You will play a crucial role in developing, promoting and measuring key communications priorities for the Payments business. You must be able to prioritize, influence and work effectively in a matrixed environment to deliver excellent and cohesive communications, ensuring that colleagues remain informed and engaged on the business strategy, priorities and culture.
Job responsibilities
Drafts and delivers communications materials, including newsletters, town halls, organizational announcements, and other messages as needed.Serves as a trusted advisor to executives across the region and businesses to ensure consistent messaging that aligns to the broader editorial strategySupports business priorities and create better awareness of regional and business activities by sourcing and drafting intranet articles and contributing to the global newsletterManages communications projects/initiatives from beginning to endDrives data tracking and reporting across the business, generate regular reports (monthly, quarterly, annually) and implement communications strategies based on data and trendsCollaborates across the Global Payments Communications team and partner with global Commercial & Investment Banking internal communications colleagues to understand goals and assist in implementing communications strategies
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Relevant experience in the Marketing & Communications field in Corporate CommunicationsSuperior verbal, written and interpersonal skills; strong editing skills; web knowledge/digitally savvyProven ability to lead, influence, and align across cross-functional teams while interacting with multiple stakeholdersExcellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize high volume, high priority initiativesCommitment to maintaining the firm’s high standards related to risk, compliance and the Code of ConductHigh level of independence, energy, and integrity, demonstrates respect for a diversity of opinions and styles, and accepts accountability and responsibilityFlexibility to work outside of normal business hours depending on business needs
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
BA/BS degree in Communications, Marketing or Journalism preferredSolid understanding of the financial services industryStrong knowledge of corporate internal and employee communications strategies, best practices, implementation and executionExpertise in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Additional software skills (Adobe, Acrobat Professional, Photoshop, HTML) are a plus
