Internal Control Officer | MAF Global Solutions | Finance
ROLE SUMMARY
The Internal Control Officer is responsible for strengthening Majid Al Futtaim-Global Solutions risk and control framework by testing the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls and contributing to the Internal Control Self-Assessment (ICSA) process. This role involves testing the controls, summarizing CSA results, identifying control gaps, ensuring compliance with MAFGS policies and procedures, and promoting a culture of robust governance and accountability.
ROLE PROFILE
Control Testing and Reporting: Support Service Delivery and MAFGS functions in adhering to internal policies, procedures, standards, and best practices.Assist in the execution of the Internal Control Self-Assessment (ICSA) process for various functions within Service Delivery and MAFGS.Collaborate with function-specific teams to propose and implement control mechanisms across critical service delivery processes, such as Human Capital delivery, and Finance Delivery.Continuous Improvement of Control Testing: Assist in automating control testing where feasible, reducing manual efforts and human error.Leverage tools such as Power BI to build interactive dashboards and provide data-driven insights across service delivery functions.Enhance reporting mechanisms, enabling clear and timely identification of non-compliance.Team Collaboration and Development: Act as a key point of contact for internal control within Service Delivery and MAFGS functions.Promote a culture of continuous improvement and collaborative problem-solving among cross-functional teams.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.Professional qualifications (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, CA, CIA) are preferred.Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Internal Control, Audit, Risk Management, or Compliance roles, preferably in a shared services or multinational environment.Experience in Internal Control, Audit (Internal or External), Risk Management, or Compliance.Proficiency in Power BI, and advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.Exceptional organization, time management, and problem-solving skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
