At Mammoet, we are looking for a Internal Control Specialist to join our Internal Control team in Schiedam. In this role, you’ll serve as part of the second line of defense, collaborating with finance managers globally and reporting to the Global Internal Control Manager. You will play a vital role in driving the Internal Controls function, enhancing process efficiency, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING Coordinating and executing the bi-annual self-assessment (BSF) process across global entities. Monitoring and addressing Segregation of Duty conflicts through mitigating controls. Managing the internal control recommendations database and ensuring timely implementation of improvements. Leading and ensuring the timely completion of critical access reviews. Raising awareness of key risks and supporting the implementation of mitigation measures. Developing and implementing automation solutions to streamline processes and minimize errors. Acting as an ambassador for risk management and internal control, fostering strong relationships across departments. WHAT YOU’LL NEED 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Finance, IT, or Internal Control. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with SAP ECC, SAP S/4, GRC tooling, and Power BI. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Experience in a project-based organization (preferred). Fluency in English, both written and verbal. Flexible, results-oriented mindset with a proactive approach.
