Internal Control System and Risk Management Specialist with German (All Genders)

Your Key Responsibilities

 

Performing the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations, in the Europe region Obtaining, analyzing and evaluating finance documentation, reports, data, flowcharts etc. Prepare and present reports/presentations that reflect audit’s results and document process Maintain open communication with management and audit committee Engage to continuous knowledge development regarding sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards Carrying out and documenting the control and risk management activities as part of day-to-day work Coordination and monitoring of ICS activities in the ICS cycle Documentation according to schedule and requirements in the ICS cockpit Acting as an interface between ICS control/process owner and internal / external auditors auditors and ICS Reporting Team Discussing ICS-related topics with the ICS control/process owner of the legal companies Coordination and monitoring of RM activities in the RM Loop Cycles Documentation according to schedule and requirements in the SharePoint/Mendix tool Acting as an interface between Risk operators and Corporate Team Discussing RM-related topics with the Risk Operators owner of the legal entities Ensure compliance with all applicable plans, policies, and standards accordingly to Schaeffler Management-Handbuch Support and coordination of the implementation of the national companies within the Europe region within the framework of the internal control system (ICS) and risk management (RM) Training of new employees in the Europe region in regard to internal control system (ICS) and risk management (RM) processes

 

Your Qualifications

 

Degree in economics - in Accounting, Finance, Audit or related field Min. 1 year of Financial shared Services environment experience 1-3 years of experience in risk assessment, auditing, financial accounting or a combination thereof Excellent German Language skills and proficient in business English Excellent understanding of complex and economic processes with analytical and conceptual way of working Sound understanding of audit theories, principles, and practices - Good knowledge of accounting policies in HGB and IFRS Very good knowledge of SAP, advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases Good organizational and coordination skills as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to work in teams, under pressure and within all deadlines Openness for continuous improvement (willing to address innovative ideas, open to feedback) Highly motivated and dynamic with great communications skills Strong interpersonal skills, critical thinking skills, and time management skills Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports Experience in supporting process transitions Willingness for international travel activities
