Internal Engagement Manager

The Internal Engagement Manager is responsible for developing and executing company’s internal engagement and communication strategies as well as leading  corporate social responsibility activities, across Australia and New Zealand. You will drive key business priorities by leading organisation’s internal communications and engagement, working in partnership with the Managing Director, Chief of Staff, Human Resources, Country Leadership Team, and other key business units. You will work in partnership with local, regional, and global communications teams to support enterprise-wide communications and events.

What will you do:

 Internal Communications and Engagement

Enhance company’s reputation by leading our internal communications and events strategy.

Drive internal engagement opportunities that support the delivery of strategic priorities.

Deliver internal communications on strategic and enterprise-wide critical business issues.

Support the Leadership Team communicate key strategic and business critical issues.

 Lead whole of enterprise internal events such as Yarns and Town Halls.

 Deliver internal communications and events aligned with enterprise priorities.

 Co-lead the Workplace Experience Committee to improve internal employee experience.

Identify communications and engagement opportunities linked to strategic priorities.

Maintain and develop content for internal communications channels and websites.

Partner with the External Communications Manager on external media opportunities.

Work closely with Human Resources to develop and deliver consistent messaging that is aligned with employee value proposition.


Corporate Social Responsibility

Lead company’s Corporate Social Responsibility Activities across Australia and New Zealand.

Develop 2023-24 CSR plan, aligned with local, regional and global priorities.

Develop charitable contributions strategy and identify partnership opportunities.

Champion volunteering program in support of local communities and charities.

Encourage participation across Australia and New Zealand in support of CSR initiatives.


What should you have:

 Degree in a relevant discipline and previous experience in strategic communications.

Experience in delivering successful strategic communication campaigns.

Experience in managing and coordinating small, medium and large events

Proven ability to work independently and cohesively as part of a team.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Excellent attention to detail.

Outstanding interpersonal communication skills.

Excellent time management skills and a curiosity to learn
