Role Description
This position is integral to generating a pipeline of sales for Spence Doors and will spend their day on the phone and email, fostering relationships with small to medium sized customers. If you look forward to the buzz of your phone ringing or the ding from incoming emails, along with the social interaction that follows, you may just have what we are looking for.
Internal Sales plays a very important role in the business and as a representative of Spence Doors, you will become the voice of the company to our clients. With this in mind, the right candidate must enjoy this responsibility and have the personality to build social relationships in a B2B setting. We are looking for someone with a positive energy to spark conversation and the passion to speak to customers accordingly.
Internal Sales deliver the attentiveness to customer needs that keep these customers coming back. On top of this, Internal Sales is defined by organisation - staying on top of each customer’s needs and doing your best to meet their requirements. You will do some estimating so some technical aptitude in the construction sector is important for this role. In particular, the ability to read building plans and understand how the building process comes together.

Key Responsibilities
Being a present and social communication line to customers. Handling inbounds leads so that all customer requests for information, quotes, and more are addressed. Working closely with our Business Development Manager to close sales in line with our national targets. Ensuring CRM systems are up-to-date and accurate.
