The PositionKey Responsibilities:
Translation and the secretariat:
Simultaneous interpretation at management meetings, etc.
Translate written and verbal communications, documents, reports, and other materials from English to Japanese and vice versa.
Ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency in translations.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Collaborate with different departments to understand and meet their translation needs.
Proofread and edit translations done by other team members or external service providers.
Perform other administrative duties such as meeting/event secretariat as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional translation experience. Administrative experience is a plus.
Skills:
Proficiency in English and Japanese.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in Google Suite or related software(document, slide, spreadsheet, etc).
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with diverse groups.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a corporate environment.
Familiarity with translation software and tools.
Basic knowledge of IVD or related industry.
