International Broker, Cross Border Commercial-AGCN
The Aon Global Client Network (AGCN) Cross Border Commercial team is a group of brokers located in over 80 global locations, specializing in middle market accounts. They provide customized solutions for multinational clients, helping organizations identify, assess, and manage risks. The team offers access to global markets, innovative solutions, and expert guidance. As part of our ongoing growth, we are seeking an experienced Broker to join our Los Angeles office. This individual will play a pivotal role in providing strategic risk management guidance, leveraging Aon’s global resources to deliver cross-border solutions and market insights to our esteemed clients. This a hybrid role that requires working onsite for three days in our Los Angeles, CA office. What the day will look like This Broker is responsible for the management of a complex portfolio of international accounts, including the placement and service, and ensuring multinational client deliverables are maintained. This individual is accountable for acting as the AGCN representative for the local office or region on new business opportunities and any training needs for internal and external clients. Thorough analysis of current international risk transfer program to include coverage and cost analysis with a focus on Middle Market clients Insurance program structure planning and design Prepare all marketplace insurance submissions, coordinate and negotiations as appropriate in coordination with Account Executives. Finalize all program quotes and complete a thorough comparison of program options as part of the client proposal presentation. Comparison to include changes in exposures, losses, coverage terms and conditions and cost of risk. Implement chosen program structure to include completion of policy Participate in renewal strategy discussions as part of the account team. Serve as a primary or secondary market contact as assigned and in accordance with established policy. Educate and advise team members on coverage issues, markets, and related developments. Delegate account team responsibilities as appropriate with supporting staff Ability to articulate AGCN value and finalize remuneration using appropriate tools and service level agreements. Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of insurance industry experience. Skills and experience that will lead to success Minimum 3+ years of experience providing counsel to multinational clients including coordination of service for outward business, leading the brokerage process for multinational casualty insurance programs, and/or leading collaboration across offices and/or geographies to support multinational risk management/finance practices on behalf of insureds, brokers, and/or insurers. Successfully managing and leading the brokerage process on a book of multinational casualty business. Direct communication with clients during for pre-renewal and renewal discussions. Acting as the main point of contact to respond to client inquiries including contract reviews and coverage questions. Pay Transparency Laws: The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $90,000 -115,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Los Angeles, CA. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
