Job Description

The International Casino Marketing Host position will be responsible for the daily administration of the International Independent Agent program.  This position will be providing support to independent representatives and to guests.  The International Casino Marketing Host will constantly strive to exceed reps and guests expectations through gracious and personalized service. The ideal candidate for this position will possess inherent customer service skills, a passion for guest care, and a commitment to proactive service and recovery as necessary.

Key Job Responsibilities

Work as a part of a team to increase the revenue and income managed by the International Independent Agent team.Develop one on one relationships with the reps and guests and provide exceptional service to cultivate and maintain relationships.Ensure that all reps and guests are dealt with in an efficient and courteous manner. Resolve complaints and issues effectively while escalating concerns as appropriate.Must be knowledgeable of, and be able to explain, games offered by the casino, current marketing events, promotions and programs.Arrange reservations, transportation and accommodations for guests. Use sound judgment and make decisions in accordance with established comp and expense guidelines.Assist with player development events. Perform other related duties as required.Process all agent applications paperwork and work closely with our compliance teamProcess monthly commission reports and commission checks.Credit line requests-processing and understanding policy and procedures including Affidavits.Collections -Communicating closely with Reps and customers to collect based on collection guidelines. Support Office Manager and assist office when needed.

Qualifications

Key Competencies

Technical capacity: proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)Previous experience in a hotel/casino setting environment and must have knowledge of Opera and Patron hotel management systemsProficiency in speaking, reading and writing in the Spanish language is requiredOutstanding customer service and communication skills for telemarketing and greeting guestsAbility to think independently in making real-time decisions to maximize guest service experienceHighly organized, self-motivated and detail orientedPossess sharply honed interpersonal skills, inspire confidence and exude authenticity with regard to both guest and team interactionsEffective time management skills and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneouslyMust always present a well-groomed professional appearance

Supervisory Responsibility

This position is an individual contributor position and has no supervisory responsibilities

Work Environment

This position is required to be on property daily and this position operates in both an office and casino floor setting

Position Type/Expected Work Hours

This is a full-time position. Must be flexible in work schedule with the ability to work varied days and times. Must be reachable by cell phone 24/7

Education and/or Experience 

High school diploma requiredHigher education or related sales and marketing training strongly preferredA minimum of three (3) years of previous experience in casino, hospitality, telemarketing or other customer service environment

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, instructions, emails and other related documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests. Fluency in English & Spanish required read and write. Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations.

Age, Certifications and Work Cards

21 years of age or above.A valid Nevada Gaming License and Alcohol Awareness Card are required and must be obtained before entering this position.
