JOB SUMMARY:
The International Civil Certification Tech Aide supports Textron Aviation international validation efforts across all models. This individual supports Regional Airworthiness Directors (RADs) and International Certification Engineers by helping with regulatory research and International Civil Aviation Authority (ICAA) visits.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages correspondence database for international civil certification activities, ensuring that correspondence is appropriately filed. Locate and retrieve physical historical documents and communications from onsite or offsite storage facilities and convert to digital format, if necessaryMaintains files of Textron Aviation foreign type certificates, supplemental type certificates, and major change approval documents in physical and digital storage.Builds document packages in support of foreign validation activities, retrieving electronic and physical documents. Assists with ensuring document classifications are consistent with Export-Controlled Information (ITAR, EAR) regulations.Organizes ICAA visits to Textron Aviation facilities. Assists with logistics during authority visits.Coordinates the material expense forecasting process. Works international and civil certification leadership to ensure that material forecasts are accurate and comprehensive. Compares actual material spend with forecast. Updates forecast for accounting continuously.Prepares international certification metrics for internal and external reporting. Coordinates updates to foreign delivery status and validation project status tools on a weekly basis.Provides support to third party organizations conducting validation activities as agents of Textron Aviation. Assists with retrieval and submittal of engineering documents to third party. organizations as necessary to support these activities. High School education or equivalent is requiredQUALIFICATONS:
