**About the Role:** International E&P Contracts Researcher
**The Team:**
Our team is dedicated to providing customers with the most comprehensive and reliable information relating to contractual agreements including geographical areas in the energy sector. **Responsibilities and Impact:**
+ Research, analyze, and ensure the quality and accuracy of E&P contract data before entering it into the database.
+ Partner with the Latin America Upstream Intelligence regional teams on E&P industry information focussing on the gathering, business intelligence, and quality of E&P contracts and blocks.
+ Utilize GIS tools, such as ArcGIS, to create and update spatial data ensuring high quality information is available.
+ Enhance and maintain the E&P Contracts and Blocks data, ensuring timely and accurate data entry and error correction.
+ Perform special data quality projects as designated by the E&P Contract Director or the Regional Upstream Intelligence team.
+ Actively contribute to quality control of the team’s products and resolve data inconsistencies.
**What We’re Looking For:**
**Basic Required Qualifications:**
+ University degree in Geoscience or a related field.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and at least one other language spoken across Latin America, with Portuguese being a strong bonus.
+ Petroleum industry experience, particularly in Latin America
+ Excellent IT skills, particularly in GIS tools and Microsoft Office.
+ Strong attention to detail and quality focus
+ Curiosity, enthusiasm, and good decision-making abilities.
+ Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
+ Ability to work with rigid deadlines under direct supervision as well as autonomously, setting priorities.
**Additional Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Proficiency in Portuguese.
+ Experience with new technologies and data acquisition tools.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
