International Export Specialist II

Job Summary

The International Export Specialist II manages export product orders through the domestic Quality Control Centers (QCC’s) from receipt of order through customs to delivery, including determination of certificates, licenses, or any other documents required for exporting the products. Research import requirements for potential new markets. Instruct and guide team members at the shipping QCC and work closely with International IBM’s and International Supply Chain team. Assist Senior Manager, International Logistics and Exports with special projects. 

Duties and Responsibilities

Research new country documentation, labeling and package requirements to export/import; in coordination with R&D, Supply Chain, International Licensee and local/Federal agencies. 

Identify and work with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance for exported products. 

Coordinates with QCC Distribution Management & Centralized Inventory Management teams to ensure the cost effectiveness of international shipments (both inbound and outbound). 

 Prepare all documents and labels required for exporting/importing products. 

 Manage shipment(s) with International Licensees freight forwarder. Bid international freight when needed. 

 Notify franchisees of changes/issues or delays in transit with product orders. 

 Update and maintain internal databases for quote/order tracking (DSR) and demand planning & replenishment (DPR). 

 Work with Senior Manager in management of international specific items (8000/8100 #’s). 

 Work with Senior Manager in development and management of vendor direct shipments. 

 Work with Senior Manager in development and management of export compliance program. 

 Participate and/or lead Export Ops presentations for both International Guest Visits and i-NFO’s. 

 Process payables and resolve any related issues with Accounts Payables and/or vendors. 

 Must be available to respond to emergency/urgent requirements outside normal working hours. 

 International and/or domestic travel may be required.
