As the International Marketing Manager at IDEXX LPD you will be part of the Global Commercial Marketing team for IDEXX Livestock, Poultry, and Dairy (LPD), focusing on marketing responsibilities for the EMEA region and providing specialized support to other global regions.
The Livestock, Poultry, and Dairy (LPD) group provides diagnostic solutions for laboratories, veterinarians, and farmers. The Marketing Manager reports to the Senior Global Marketing Manager, developing and executing marketing plans in close collaboration with key business stakeholders.
What You Will Do:
Full Commercial Marketing Support: Provide comprehensive marketing support for commercial teams to drive alignment and ensure effective collaboration. Serve as a primary point of contact between global product line marketing and sales, delivering insights, resources, and guidance to empower sales performance.Commercial Planning & Cross-Functional Alignment: Lead commercial planning activities, ensuring alignment with global marketing, sales teams, and other key functions. Facilitate planning sessions, synchronize objectives across teams, and integrate commercial activities to support broader business goals.Marketing Launch Planning & Performance Reporting: Develop and execute marketing launch plans for product or service introductions. Establish clear KPIs and reporting mechanisms to measure launch success, track performance, and provide insights for continuous improvement.Channel Planning & Metrics Analysis: Create, implement, and optimize channel plans across digital, social, and traditional media. Conduct monthly performance reviews and metrics analysis, using data to refine approach and achieve growth targets.Lead Generation through Digital Marketing: Design and manage digital marketing campaigns to drive lead generation and customer engagement. Utilize SEO, email marketing, paid media, and content marketing to attract and convert high-quality leads for the sales team.Quarterly Promotions & Program Management: Plan and execute quarterly promotions and targeted programs to engage customers, drive revenue growth, and support key business objectives. Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure alignment and seamless execution.Sales Training Development & Positioning Support: Collaborate to develop and refine training materials that enhance the sales team’s product knowledge, market understanding, and positioning capabilities. Provide positioning strategies to ensure competitive differentiation in customer interactions.Sales & Marketing Collateral Development: Create and manage a comprehensive suite of sales and marketing materials, including presentations, brochures, product sheets, and digital assets. Tailor materials to different segments and ensure they align with brand guidelines and strategic messaging.Tradeshow Planning, Support & ROI Optimization: Oversee tradeshow plans, including budgeting, logistics, and event-specific promotions. Maximize ROI by ensuring that tradeshow investments align with broader commercial goals, generate leads, and strengthen brand visibility.Competitive Intelligence Gathering: Source and analyze competitive intelligence to inform planning and keep the company responsive to market dynamics. Regularly update commercial teams on competitive trends, product launches, and customer feedback.What You Need to Succeed
A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience would be preferred. Master’s Degree or equivalent preferred.You have strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.Preferably 3+ years in a similar Business-to-Business Marketing role, preferably at Pharma or Medical devices industriesAbility to develop and implement marketing campaigns, including digital.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills required. Cultural sensitivity a must as the job involves working with an international team.Proven ability to lead project teams which are highly matrixed and cross functional.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to anticipate and resolve issuesAbility to prioritize, maintain focus, and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong presentation skills: ability to present and explain product information to all audiences15% yearly travel is requiredWhy IDEXX
