Context and purpose:

Following the announcement in December 2019 of the creation of a standalone Global Business Unit, Sanofi’s Consumer Healthcare (Opella) has grown into a leading consumer healthcare platform with a presence in 150 countries and over 11,000 employees, dedicated resources in R&D, manufacturing, information technology as well as its distinct sustainability roadmap. In Q3 2023, Sanofi announced its intention to separate the Opella Business as it increases its focus on innovative medicines and vaccines. The intended separation will seek to create two entities, each better equipped to pursue its own business strategy, resourcing and capital allocation and enabling each to focus on long-term growth in its respective markets. Sanofi believes that the separation will unlock further opportunities for Opella to leverage its portfolio of leading brands and continue to drive growth and shareholder value.

Amidst this exciting backdrop, the role of International Mobility Specialist within the CHC People & Culture organization emerges as a vital position.

Reporting to the Global Benefits and Mobility Lead, supporting the International Mobility Lead and with strong partnerships with our People and Culture and Reward and Performance teams, you will be the subject matter expert on terms and conditions for internationally mobile employees within the CHC business. You will support the project to develop the future operations and our policies in readiness for full carve out of the business.:

This role is central in developing the future International Mobility philosophy for Opella, aimed at attracting and retaining top talent.

Main responsibilities:

Support the development and deployment of the new operating model, including new policies and processes.Act as a trusted partner for the Business, People & Culture and Reward & Performance teams to support them in making the best international mobility choices in accordance with our business and Talent strategies and our policies.  Oversee due diligence exercise and coordinate the required services including tax and immigration.Support the International Mobility Lead in management of our vendors to ensure a great employee experience.Participate in the compensation cycle review and update the mobility packages.Build relationships with our internal partners in payroll, Global Business Services and  People and Culture to manage the international mobility lifecycle.Work closely and in an integrated way with the international mobility network abroad

About you:

Over 5 years of experience in International Mobility roles.Experience of managing tax, social protection and immigration related topics and an ability to communicate them effectivelyExperience of managing compensation packages.Able to work on multiple priorities with a strong commitment to deadlines. Fluent in English and French.Agile with strong project management skills.Customer focussed and able to work across diverse and cross functional teamsStrong communicator, able to build effective relationships.Interested in legal and payroll topics.
