About International Personal Lines (IPL) 
IPL offers a wide range of products to meet the needs of the emerging consumer in the areas of Auto, Residential, Personal Risk Services and Specialty Personal Lines. These four lines of business vary in scope and coverage however converge when it comes to the target customer – the individual consumer. IPL is offered in over 30 countries and sold through various distribution channels, including agents and brokers, dealers, banks, mobile network operators, and many other partners. Today, IPL generates nearly $3B in net written premium, having tripled in size over the last 10 years. 

Internships with Chubb

Our internship program offers the chance to have practical, real world experience at one of the world’s leading P&C insurance companies. As a part of the program, you will have the opportunity to work on business specific projects where you will gain knowledge and experience to supplement and strengthen your academic skills. 

Specific available projects:

Underwriting Authority Restatement / Attestation IT Shared File Migration from Shared Drive to SharePoint Operations Capabilities/Performance Assessment Finalize dashboard to report on a recurring basis the Customer Experience metrics for IPL markets and by lines of business (NPS + Survey Distribution) Creation of a matrix summarizing self-service capabilities by market (digital enablement) IPL Communications Initiatives  Marketing campaign to boost engagement on IPL Village page (right-size membership list and ensure that all colleagues classified within IPL is part of the page) Podcast – create marketing promotions to remind people of content already recorded; bring podcast followership to 150 colleagues. (currently at 100) Product Line Strategic Support AI Use Case Development  Work with Product teams to evaluate existing use cases and see if there’s application to our respective lines of business

Desired Qualifications

Students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in many majors will be considered Strong GPA preferred (3.0 required) Oral and written communication skills Leadership experience through work or involvement in community service, athletics, clubs, etc. preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)Clear evidence of a high level of attention to detailPassionate about seeking opportunities to contribute to the success of a global company.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, while taking initiative and working independently
