International Production Coordinator - Women's Shirts

POSITION TITLE:  Intl. Production, Coordinator, Women’s Shirts 

REPORTS TO:  Intl. Production, Sr. Coordinator 

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

Manage all aspects of the category for all AE’s international channels, from fabric and product development to production via interaction with internal cross functional partners i.e Design, Tech Design, Wash and Fabric team, Global merchandising team, Global Buying team, Planning team and Logistics teams. This position will also have the opportunity to interact with licensee partners as required. Responsible for daily communication with vendors and cross functional teams regarding production updates, purchase order issuance and maintenance and other International special projects

 

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT:

Strategize with Design to land seasonal fabrics to meet Design aesthetics, price points & sourcing needs Manage compliance to T&A calendar in conjunction with major milestones per international delivery requirements Manage development ratios to agreed levels while meeting roadmap needs Help execute sourcing strategy for the category Actively participate in key milestone meetings with Design, Production, and Merchants

 

PRODUCTION SUPPORT TO INTERNATIONAL TEAM: 

Support end-to-end product development of international exclusive programs for respective categories Interface with AEO cross functional team members to ensure approval, and ultimately garment T&A deadlines are met Review outstanding issues on int’l excl. production status, take action accordingly and elevate as needed Collect projections pre seasons and help actualize units postseasonal buys  Support Global Merchandising in collating deadlines and deliverables for fabric platforms and early calls Manage Intl. Exclusive fabric platforms and liabilities with vendors, ensuring adequate capacity and usage of commitments prior to expiration. Perform other duties as required inclusive of ownership of corporate special orders projects

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or equivalent 3-5 years related experience Experience working with large/sophisticated/complex franchised, licensed, or JV partners is a plus Impeccable verbal/written communication and persuasion skills; proven ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment Excellent organizational & analytical skills  Experience with Nu Order, Bamboo Rose or another PLM system a plus Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team and a proven ability to positively influence peers and cross functional partners. Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment Ability to work in a hybrid environment which will require working in person/in-office for a portion or all of a week based on the needs of the business, including but not limited to milestone weeks Ability to multi-task and prioritize Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting Ability to work outside of standard U.S. business hours is required, periodically
