The Role

The International Security Operations Centre (ISOC) Operator is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of operations through continuous monitoring and responsive communication. This role involves managing and triaging emergency and non-emergency calls, monitoring security systems including CCTV and access control, and ensuring effective communication of security information and incident updates. The ISOC Operator will also handle local intelligence by tracking news and law enforcement updates and provide detailed documentation and reporting on incidents.

Areas of Responsibility

Continuous monitoring and management of security operations, including handling emergency and non-emergency communications from staff based in the region, or travelling to the region.Overseeing and monitoring technical security systems such as CCTV, Access Control, and Fire/Life Safety Systems at multiple WBD sites.Acknowledging, disseminating, and escalating incident information to relevant security team members, other relevant stakeholders and the Global Threat Analysis Centre (GTAC).Keeping track of local news, law enforcement notifications, and other relevant sources to provide updates on ongoing incidents.Maintaining detailed records of all incidents, communications, and actions, and preparing reports for management as required.Acting as an ambassador for the company by delivering respectful and tailored service to all customers and stakeholders and when required assisting with other security related duties.

Areas of Accountability

Providing efficient and professional response service to any staff calling in for assistance from Global Security.Effective technical security system monitoring and in accordance with relevant SOPs providing a highly professional response to alarms and other activations at all the sites monitored.Responding efficiently and in a timely manner to all information received regarding any threats to WBD staff or assets.

Qualifications                                                   

Availability to work shifts, in a 24/7 operational environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Experience with monitoring and operating security systems, including CCTV, Access Control, and Fire/Life Safety Systems.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle Emergency and Non-Emergency communications effectively.Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and preparing detailed reports for management.Experience of researching open-source information portals to identify or verify threats and risks.

The ISOC must operate on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week basis, without staff working remotely. Remote work can only be performed in circumstances where the SOC environment is inappropriate for work such as after a mass disaster, contagious disease, or similar extreme cases.

Onsite Working - This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement, where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
