Join Our Team as an International Tax Manager in our HQ in Milan!
As an International Tax Manager, you will report directly to the International Tax Director and play a crucial role in analyzing cross-border tax issues for specific geographic areas and corporate projects.
Your expertise will be vital in managing tax risks for our subsidiaries, coordinating with local tax consultants and accounting teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Cross-Border Transactions: Analyze tax aspects of cross-border transactions, including transfer pricing and withholding tax applications.
Tax Inspections: Oversee and manage tax inspections to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
Extraordinary Tax Issues: Handle non-ordinary tax issues such as financing structures, new corporation incorporations, business startups, plant closures, mergers, and spin-offs.
International Business Operations: Assess tax implications for business activities conducted by legal entities in different countries, focusing on permanent establishment issues, VAT, and withholding tax.
M&A Processes: Support M&A activities, including due diligence, structuring, SPA analysis, and consultant coordination.
Project Coordination: Assist the International Tax Director in coordinating projects to minimize tax risks, especially in response to new EU/OECD regulations (e.g., DAC 6, Hybrid rules, BEPS Actions, Pillar II).
Who We're Looking For:
Educational Background: Degree in Economics, Law, or a related field.
Experience: 5-8 years of experience in domestic and international tax, ideally with a mix of tax consultancy and in-house roles.
Tax Expertise: Broad knowledge of direct and indirect taxes, cross-border transactions, transfer pricing, and M&A.
Language Skills: Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment.
