International Tax Manager

As part of Jacobs’ International Tax team, you’ll join a group of strategically focused professionals. Working together, we’ll help you grow and pursue what fulfills you so that we can make impacts on the future - big and small, global and local.  As an International Tax Manager, you’ll be actively engaged in all aspects of international tax provision, planning, research, and compliance to support our international tax functions. You will play a key role in preparing and reviewing the company’s global tax positions related to Pillar 2, GILTI, BEAT, FDII, FTC etc. and assist with the preparation of the international tax provisions, including tax audit support. You will support continuous process improvement, including the identification of opportunities to drive processes and controls towards best practices. You will assist in review of the tax provision calculation prepared by the local accounting teams to ensure compliance with US GAAP requirements; be involved with special tax projects related to mergers and acquisitions, international tax law changes, international tax compliance, maintaining and documenting tax attributes, etc. In addition, you will manage compliance engagement with external service providers, assist with the implementation of Pillar 2 calculations and reporting requirements, and be involved with special tax projects to support tax modeling and planning. Design your career with a company that inspires and empowers you to deliver your best work so you can evolve, grow and succeed - today and into tomorrow.  * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance * CPA, MST or JD preferred * 4-7 years of experience in Big 4 and/or US multinational corporate tax department with exposure to tax accounting (ASC 740), US international tax compliance (Forms 5471, 8858, etc.) and other transaction and planning projects * Working knowledge and willingness to learn the area of accounting for income taxes * Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and changing priorities * Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities * Willingness to work collaboratively by incorporating diverse perspectives and willingness to accept challenging projects outside of areas of experience * Ability to manage own workload * Positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team that contributes to a constructive work environment Ideally, you’ll have also: * Pillar 2 experience * Experience with tax software, such as CorpTax * Working knowledge of data analytic tools (e.g. AI, PowerQuery, Alteryx, Pivot Tables/Slicers) #LI-MP1 Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
