Primary Duties & Responsibilities
JOB ELEMENT – International Provision – 20%
Coordinate and prepare the quarterly/annual income tax provision calculation and deferred tax balances of the Company’s foreign entities in CorpTAX as assigned Coordinate the timely recording of differences in the international tax return filings and the provision amounts reported in the CorpTAX system as assigned Monitor the foreign subsidiary deferred tax balances on statutory books to reconcile to the CorpTAX balances and interact with local Accounting/Finance teams as necessary Ensure 404 SOX compliance for the international tax function Assist with the accrual for uncertain tax positions (FIN 48) and corresponding supporting documentation Keep up to date on changes in tax laws that affect the tax calculationsJOB ELEMENT – Compliance – 60%
Coordinate, data gather, and prepare the US reporting of foreign information including forms 1118, 5471, 8858, 5713, FBAR, etc. in CorpTAX Maintain and update the cumulative E&P schedules and prepare Sub-part F calculations for the Company’s foreign subsidiaries as assigned Assist in the calculation of ADS depreciation for foreign subsidiaries as assigned for US reporting Monitor the foreign subsidiaries local country compliance is timely filed and interact with local accounting and tax advisors as necessary Assist with international aspects of any domestic auditsJOB ELEMENT – Other– 20%
Assist with transfer pricing reporting and monitoring as requested Participate in tax seminars/continuing education Assist with the documentation of policies and procedures and automation where possible Assist with OECD required initiatives such as Country by Country reports, Master File, Pillar 2, etc. Assist with tax research, modeling, advice and solutions Other as necessarySUPERVISES: None, but must interact with accounting and financial staff to obtain needed tax information. Must coordinate information requests from outside tax advisors and auditors.
Education & Experience
EDUCATION: B.S. or B.A. degree in Accounting
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 3-7 years of professional experience in tax, preferable in big four public accounting and/or large multinational company environment
Skills
Strong electronic spreadsheet skills Understanding of ASC740 and US GAAP concepts Basic knowledge of international and federal income tax CPA or Masters a plus, but not required Flexibility, multi-tasking and ability to do many jobs simultaneously while adhering to strict reporting and tax deadlines Organizational skills and attention to detail is essential Corptax and Hyperion software experience preferred Must be able to work in and promote a team environment Problem Solving Customer Focus Decision Making and Continuous Improvement Innovation and Results OrientedWorking Conditions
Hybrid - Three days in office, two days remote
