\nThe International Trace Compliance intern will receive training in international import and export requirements. They will get an overview of the trade compliance team and functionality and then focus on collaborating with the team on 2-3 projects related to trade compliance topics such as forced labor prevention in the supply chain, international import/export requirements, international trade data and tariffs.
Potential Projects:
Collection and interpretation of data Communication with global suppliers, monitoring and managing responses Coordination with Novolex buyers and engineers regarding import/export requirements Assistance with creation of parts databases for customs entries Participation in other trade compliance projects as needed \n Team player, positive attitude Very interested in international trade with a desire to develop a career in the field Capacity for problem solving and demonstrated multi-task capabilities. Ability to innovate and simplify current processes and practices Microsoft business software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Excel experience including pivot tables, functions and equations preferred. High level of accuracy and attention to detail Good communication skills, including business emails and technical writingPreferred majors:
Rising Juniors or Seniors preferred with a focus in International Trade, International Transportation, International Law, Business Analytics, Supply Chain, Logistics
